This is a recipe that was shared with me by a friend who is a whiz at throwing things together in a food processor and creating something that actually tastes GOOD. So thanks go to that individual for this BOMB healthy chocolate truffle recipe!
- 1 cup pitted dates
- 1/2 cup almond butter
- Mixed nuts (I used walnuts, peanuts and pistachios)
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
And literally all you have to do is throw the ingredients in the food processor, blend them up for 30 seconds or so until you have a coarse “batter” and then roll it into 1-inch balls.
These are perfect for a post-workout snack or after-dinner treat 🙂
